Wicked is Extending Until 2026

The hit show Wicked is Extending to 2026. The popular show opened at the Apollo Victoria in 2006. Wicked is still going strong as it nears it’s 19th anniversary and what’s more, the show is approaching the milestone of welcoming its 13 millionth customer! Cynthia Erivo and Ariana Grande recently starred in the two part blockbuster film adaptation with part 2 coming to cinemas later this year.

We are big fans of the show here at Theatre Bookings (I myself will be watching the show for the 6th time this evening!). We are thrilled to hear that Wicked is Extending until March 2026.

The show has also recently welcomed a new cast. Zizzi Strallen took on the role of Glinda alongside Emma Kingston as Elphaba.

Carl Man has stepped into the shoes of Fiyero once again on the West End. He previously played the role on tour in the UK and in the West End.

Also inhabitting the world of Oz is Sarah Ingram as Madame Morrible, with David McKechnie as Doctor Dillamond and Michael Matus as The Wizard. Hannah Qureshi (Hamilton) then plays Nessarose as well as understudy Glinda. Moreover, Ross Carpenter (The Book of Mormon) plays the role of Boq. Lastly, the cast features Laura Emmitt who has stayed on as Alternate Elphaba, and Lydia Gerrard (The Phantom of the Opera) as standby Glinda.

The full 25/26 company is completed by Iroy Abesamis, Zac Adlam, Steph Asamoah and Meg Astin. Also Rebecca Bowden, Shaun Chambers, Erin Gisele Chapman and Grace Durkin. This is alongside Onyemachi Ejimofor, Aaron Elijah, Aimee Hodnett, Nat Ingham, Holly Lawrence, Jemima Loddy, Josh Lovell and Rory Maguire.
