Lots of New West End Cast announcements took place this week. Here’s a round up of all the exiting cast changes that were confirmed over the past week.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

David Flynn to lead cast of Beetlejuice<\/a><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The production announced David Flynn is set to lead Beetlejuice<\/a> in the shows title role. Flynn already played one iconic role in the West End<\/a>, that of Dewey in School of Rock. He also has plenty of screen credits behind him including BBC Three’s Daddy Issues<\/em>, The Inbetweeners<\/em> and the film Here<\/em> to name a few. Flynn gave the following statement regarding the announcement:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cGetting the chance to step into such an iconic role is both a huge honour and a slightly surreal experience. I\u2019m looking forward to bringing my own take to it while staying true to what makes the character so much fun. Plus, I do look good in stripes, and I am a little dead inside.\u201d <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Beetlejuice<\/a> opens at The Prince Edward Theatre<\/a> opens on 20th May.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

New Stars to join Into The Woods<\/a><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Into the Woods<\/a> have collected a multitude of award nominations this season. Their latest announcement welcomes west end royalty into this successful revival. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

From the 20th April 2026, the production will star Melanie La Barrie (Hadestown<\/a><\/em>) as the Witch, John Owen-Jones (Les Mis\u00e9rables<\/a><\/em>) as the Narrator\/Mysterious Man, Jack Quarton (The Curious Case of Benjamin Button<\/em>) as the Steward, and Rachel Tucker (Wicked<\/a><\/em>) as the Baker\u2019s Wife.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Also, Jodie Jacobs is joining the cast as a Standby with Hughie O\u2019Donnell who currently plays the Steward, will play the role of the Baker.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Richard Kind joins the cast of The Producers<\/a><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Star Richard Kind, began his guest appearance at The Garrick Theatre<\/a> this Week. He is stepping into the lead role of Max Bialystock in The Producers<\/a>. Kind is well known for his work on Broadway and Screen, namely Only Murders in the Building<\/em>.
