The winners of the 40th<\/sup> Olivier Awards were announced at a star-studded event last night in Covent Garden\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s Royal Opera House, in the heart of theatre land.<\/p>\n

The Big Winners<\/strong><\/p>\n

The biggest sweep of the night was for Gypsy<\/a><\/strong> at Savoy Theatre, with four wins:
\nBest Actress in a Musical,\u00c2\u00a0Best Actress in a Supporting Role in a Musical, Best Musical Revival and Best Lighting Design.<\/em><\/p>\n

In The Heights<\/a><\/strong> also took home a trio:
\nBest Theatre Choreographer, Outstanding Achievement in Music and Best Actor in a Supporting Role in a Musical and\u00c2\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n

Kinky Boots<\/a><\/strong> also won 3 Olivier Awards:
\nBest Costume Design, Best Actor in a Musical and\u00c2\u00a0MasterCard\u00c2\u00a0Best New Musical.<\/em><\/p>\n

Everyone’s favourite, Judi Dench<\/strong>, took home her 8th Olivier Award last night – beating her very own record!<\/p>\n
