Jamie Muscato is officially The Emcee in\u00a0Cabaret<\/a>! Alongside him is Joy Woods who has taken over the role of Sally Bowles. West End star\u00a0Jamie Muscato is known for is theatrical work. This includes The Great Gatsby and Moulin Rouge!\u00a0Joy Woods is another accomplished theatre performer filling the shoes of the iconic character Sally Bowles. Woods is known from her work across musical theatre including Gypsy and Six the Musical.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Like the previous Emcees and Sallys, Muscato and Woods are leading the show for a limited period. Woods leaves the show on 5th September. Muscato’s final performance is 19th September.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

They are joining the current cast who also features\u00a0Baker Mukasa\u00a0as Clifford Bradshaw. As well as Olivier Award winner\u00a0Ruthie Henshall\u00a0(Les Mis\u00e9rables<\/a>) as Fraulein Schneider and Olivier Award nominee\u00a0Robert Hands\u00a0(Come From Away) as Herr Schultz. Also, Lucas Koch\u00a0(Evita) plays Ernst Ludwig, and\u00a0Jessica Kirton\u00a0as Fraulein Kost \/ Fritzie. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Cabaret<\/a> is based on Christopher Isherwood’s Memoir Goodbye to Berlin and the subsequent play adaptation. It paints a picture of his time in Germany at the time where the Nazis rose to power. Following the story of his real life friend and other characters he met at Cabaret<\/a> Clubs in Berlin and subsequently befriended.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Cabaret <\/a>is currently playing at The Kit Kat Club<\/a> and is booking until January 2027. You can book your tickets here<\/a> to watch Cabaret<\/a> in the West End.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
