WHAT’S OPENING IN THE WEST END DURING 2017?
With so many new shows opening in London’s West End this year, we’ve rounded up the best musicals and plays that you simply won’t want to miss…
Hamilton
Victoria Palace Theatre – from November 2017
(Tickets available from 30th January 2017)
The show that needs no introduction arrives in London from November 2017.
Winner of multiple awards (including more than one Tony award), the show is written by the Oscar nominated Lin-Manuel Miranda (whose previous work, In the Heights, has just finished a successful run at the King’s Cross Theatre). It has a unique blend of musical styles such as R&B, rap, blues, and our firm favourite, musical theatre.
The show follows the turbulent life of America’s previously unsung hero, Alexander Hamilton: the creator of the Coast Guard, founder of the New York Post, writer of 51 of the Federalist Papers, and most notably, the first American Treasury Secretary.
Tickets are strictly only available from ticketmaster.co.uk from 30th January 2017 at midday. So, cancel your meetings and set an alarm! Trust us: you do not want to miss this phenomenal show.

Tom Stoppard’s comedy of art, love and revolution features James Joyce, Tristan Tzara and Lenin as remembered (and misremembered) by Henry Carr, a minor British Diplomat in Zurich in 1917.
When Gwendolen and Cecily wander in from ‘The Importance of Being Earnest’, Henry’s mind wanders too. He was Algernon in a production in Zurich, but who was the other one?
