About us
Who are we?
We are part of Leicester Square Box Office and a proud member of STAR: The Society of
Ticket Agents and Retailers. We have been in the industry for nearly 40 years and are one of
the oldest and most trusted theatre retailers in London.
Are tickets discounted with theatrebookings?
We are pleased to offer a range of discounted shows which can be found on our special offer
page. We do sell for all shows in the West End however some will be full price. Our offers
are constantly changing so be sure to check back regularly.
Do you charge additional service charges?
Theatrebookings charge a minimal service charge based on the face value of the tickets.
This fee covers the general running costs of a 24/7 booking service and order processing
fees which we believe represents good value for the service.
Booking and Payment
How can I book tickets?
You can book now on our website and the tickets will be sent through immediately via email.
If you need any additional assistance you can book over the phone by calling 020 7087 2999 (our opening hours 10am-7pm). You are also welcome to visit us in person at
theatrebookings near Leicester Square Station and book with us there.
How do I receive my Tickets?
All theatre tickets are e-tickets and will be sent to your email address when the order is
confirmed. They will be attached as a pdf to your order confirmation email.
Do I need to print out my tickets
You don’t need to print out your e-tickets but you are welcome to do so if preferred. You can
just show the pdf with the qr code on your phone at the theatre door to gain entry.
What do I do if I haven’t received my tickets yet?
Your e-tickets will be sent to your email as soon as the payment is made. If in the unlikely
event you don’t receive them please either call us at 020 7087 2999 or email us as
admin@theatrebookings.com and we will assist in resending them to you.
Can I book tickets over the phone?
Yes, tickets can be booked over the phone and payments will be made over Stripe with a
secure payment link sent to your email. Our phone lines are open everyday from 10am-7pm.

Can I book tickets on the day?
Yes you absolutely can! We offer select discounted shows on the day and for the week off.
The cut off time for booking tickets is an hour before show time.
Can I pay in cash?
Yes, when booking at our box office in person you are welcome to pay in cash! However
online we only accept payments by card. We also cannot put tickets on hold without the full
payment being made first.
Cancellations and Exchanges/Refunds
Can I cancel my booking?
Unfortunately there are strictly no refunds after purchase unless the show booked is
cancelled. All sales are final. In extenuating circumstances we will try our best to help you
exchange your tickets to a different day.
Can I exchange my tickets?
All ticket sales are final but in the case of extenuating circumstances and if the show is in the
future our team will try their best to exchange your tickets to a more suitable date. This must
be for the same show and with at least 48hours before the original show date. All exchanges
will be subject to availability and we cannot guarantee them. Please contact us by phone or
email as soon as possible if this becomes necessary.
My show was cancelled, what do I do?
In the rare instance that a show is cancelled we will initially offer you an exchange to a
different date. If this is not suitable you will be given a full refund. Our team will contact you if
this situation arises. However if you have not heard from us please contact us by phone (020 7087 2999) or email (admin@theatrebookings.com) as soon as possible.
On the Day
What time should i get to the theatre?
We always recommend arriving at the theatre at least 30mins early. Theatres normally open
the foyer and house around 45 mins to 1 hour before showtime.
Is there a dress code
No, there's no dress code. However most people will dress smart-casual. There is
occasionally a dress code for special shows such as opening nights or gala performances
where more formal attire is required but this will be clearly stated on the show listing.
What can be brought in to the theatre?
You can bring a small-medium sized bag into the theatre that can be stored either under your
seat or on your lap. Large bags and luggage should be stored before arrival as most theatre
don’t have cloakrooms. Outside food and drinks are also typically not allowed in the venue
but it can depend on the show you are seeing so we recommend checking on their official
site as well.
What should I do if I’m running late?
Most shows will seat late-comers but they do typically wait for a suitable moment so as to
not disturb other patrons. This will be up to the theatre and their font of house staff. To avoid
this we recommend always leaving plenty of extra time for your journey.
Misc
Can young children go to the theatre?
Yes but most shows will have age limits. The lowest for West End shows is typically 3 and up
so children under 3 will be denied entry. Depending on content some shows will also have
higher age limits. All are listed clearly in the show listing. However during the school holidays
there are lots of family shows available and these welcome people of all ages.
